Significance Of Vesak Poya.

 

 

Vesak is a very important festival for Buddhists all over the world, because three great wedding events that brought great wonders to the world happend on the same day. This is the the birth of prince Siddhartha,the enlightment of the Great Buddha,and the passing of sambuddha are three things.😍😍❤️




🙏According to a resolution at the world Buddhist congrees,vesak poya day is recogzed as the day of all Buddha ists in the world and vesak poya day has been adopted as a day of celebration at the united nations general and assembly and vesak poya day has also been named as an international holiday.🙏





❤️❤️ Siddhartha bo thero received the final commentary at the feet of Dipankara Buddha on vesak poya day.Prine Vijaya landed in Sri Lanka on vesak poya day.Buddha's third journey to Sri Lanka took place, and it was on the day of vesak poya that he placed the Siripa inscription at Samanala Giri Sirasa.❤️❤️❤️

Buddha's Dharma Bandagarik Ananda Maharahath passed away on a vesak poya day.🙏🙏🙏 The second coronation of king Devanampiyathissa also took place on this poya day. On vesak poya all Buddhist people goto temples, perform austerities,make vesak baskets,make thorans,give prayers,perform devotional songs, and hold fairs.❤️






According to all the facts mentioned above, it can be clearly revealed that vesak poya is an imoportant festival.🙏🙏🙏

Fun Trip To Kandy With University Friends

    🤩🤩🤩 It has been about three years since. I was selected to the university. It was on this fun trip that I met some of my first collage friends. It was very beautiful day. I felt very relaxed that day. I wake up early in the morning and arrived Kothmale Pundal oya city and left for kandy in a bus. Around  8.30. A.M. in the morning i went to kandy city. 😍😍😍 ❤️❤️❤️ Friends have already arrived in Kandy when i left.❤️❤️❤️  😘 All of us first went pay homage the noble Sri Dalanda Palace in Kandy. A large number of people had  come to worship the place that day.😘   😍😍😍 We paid Obeisance to Dalanda and then visited the museum there. We also went Kandy lake circle. After that we went for a walk to see Mount Bahirawa. It is also very sacred place. We climbed to the top of the Buddha statue there. It is very beautiful there.  Kothmale is our village.A Place of natural beauty.Its belongs to the Nuwaraeliye district of central province.There are many beautiful places around kkothmale Below are some of them. 1.Kothmale Dam This is located at place called Kadadora.A unique reservoir in Sri Lanka. 2. Ranamune Pihilla. It is the place where King Dutugemunu is believed to have bath.It is also known as Raja Pihilla. 3.Dubble Wicket. It is the place where king Dutugemunu hid the wedding sword. 4.Mahaweli Maha Saya  A bubble shaped object.Ruwanwelisaya is the second largest in Size.The Construction work was started by Mr.Gamini Disanayake. 5.Ancient Kadadora Temple  An ancient temple that was caught in the water during the work of Kothmale reservoir.It is a also known as the hidden under water temple. 6.Dansinan waterfall This is a beautiful waterfall in the Pundaluoya area of Kothmale.This is also Known as Pundaluoya falls.
